This program offers the opportunity to earn up to 6 hours of nursing-related dual credit while in high school. You may even be able to start nursing school a semester early at UCM if the correct dual credit/college courses have been taken while in high school.  

You will practice critical thinking skills and become familiar with the NCLEX style of questions that you will use in nursing school and on the NCLEX-RN. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills in the lab and ask questions to current nursing students who are in the nursing program at UCM. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with and practice in a state-of-the-art nursing simulation center.

You will meet Nursing Professors from UCM and learn first-hand about the nursing program. You will learn about the application process at UCM. Students attending STA’s PNP will be awarded an extra point on the application process for the UCM nursing program. You will learn about the Direct Admission option offered only to current high school students who will be incoming UCM freshman.

This program offers the opportunity to earn up to 7 hours of education-related dual credit while in high school. You will be able to determine if education is the right career for you, and get an early start on that path!

You will develop valuable pedagogical competencies, meet UCM education professors, and learn about UCM's education program opportunities.  In addition, you will save up to 70% off undergraduate tuition with dual credit courses, while earning nearly 10 hours of Teaching Field Experience (TFE) each week during your senior year of high school.  

This program offers the opportunity to earn up to 4 hours of digital media production-related dual credit while in high school. You will be able to determine if digital media production is the right career for you, and get an early start on that path!

You will develop valuable pedagogical competencies, meet UCM digital media production staff and save up to 70% off undergraduate tuition with dual credit courses.  You may also qualify for a dual credit scholarship and learn of other opportunities to help pay for college and internship opportunities in Kansas City.  You will also gain access to UCM's state-of-the-art studio.

This program offers the opportunity to earn up to 15 hours of finance-related dual credit while in high school. You will be able to determine if finance is the right career for you, and get an early start on that path! With this advanced start, you may be able to complete your degree in 3 years or less! 

You will develop valuable pedagogical competencies, meet UCM education professors, and learn about UCM's education program opportunities.  In addition, you will save up to 70% off undergraduate tuition with dual credit courses, learn about the dual-credit scholarship, and find other opportunities to help pay for college.  You will learn core competencies that employers are looking for and engage with upperclassmen and professors on relevant industry activities!

This program offers the opportunity to earn up to three hours of international studies-related dual credit while in high school. You will be able to determine if international studies is the right career for you, and get an early start on that path!  You may also be able to earn up to 12 hours of additional language credits!

You will develop valuable intercultural competencies, meet UCM international studies professors, and learn about UCM's study tours and study abroad opportunities around the world.  In addition, you will save up to 70% off undergraduate tuition with dual credit courses.  You will also learn about the Peace Corps and have the opportunity learn about other similar programs!
