Student Testimonials

“We get to go in to hospitals and do patient care. We get to experience so many things. After attending Summit Tech, it feels like I’m ready to go on and be a nurse.” Jillian Smith, Ray-Pec HS Graduate

“While I was in my nursing seminar today at MU, I wanted to you know that I always enjoyed the experience at STA. I can truly say I appreciate and value that experience. The nursing program was one of the most prepratory and beneficial experiences I have ever been apart of.” Tyler Wilson, Raytown South Graduate

“Thank you for being the core deciding factor of my career choice. Being a nursing major has been challenging but nevertheless, an amazing privilege. Completing Pre-professional Nursing has allowed me to be much more knowledgeable than many of my colleagues and has given me strength to stay dedicated. I’m currently interning for the Center of Disease Control and Prevention at the University of Michigan. The internship is called Future Public Health Leaders Program (FPHLP), where I have been placed at an HIV/AIDS Resource Center for 10 weeks while also taking public health courses. Once more, I would like to thank you for piloting me in the right direction and developing a great health care professional.” Derrick Young – Grambling State University (2010-11 STA Student)

“I am in the nursing program in order to gain knowledge and skills. I love this program and have learned so many new things and met so many amazing people.” Zach Canole, Blue Springs HS 2013 Graduate
