In the event of inclement weather this school year, STA follows the Lee’s Summit R7 district closure and delay schedule.
Delayed Start at Summit Technology Academy:
A delayed start at STA will be communicated on media outlets, email, and a district phone call. If Lee’s Summit R7 elects to have a delayed start, STA would not hold AM session classes. STA PM session would run as normal.
School Closure at Summit Technology Academy:
Closure of STA due to inclement weather will be communicated on STA Academy News on STA Website, Twitter, Facebook, email, and a district phone call. If Lee’s Summit R7 elects to close schools for the weather, STA will not hold classes that day.
